Something moved out of the corner of her eye, outside the window. Lydia cocked her head slightly. It was probably a car. It was the front of the school. There was a road there.

Whatever it was moved again. Something jumped out at Lydia, however. There was a road out there, but...there was also a tree in front of the classroom window. Okay, so not a car. Maybe just a branch or a leaf. Lydia looked that way...
