Neil Gaiman is my favorite person ever

I'm serious.

I really think everyone should watch/read/watch and read this:

It has a lot of good advice and awesomeness in it.

I love these quotes in particular:

"Leg crushed and then eaten by mutated boa constrictor?  Make good art."

"So be wise, because the world needs more wisdom, and if you cannot be wise, pretend to be someone who is wise, and then just behave like they would."

I'm going to pretend to be Neil Gaiman.

Nearly Pointless Post

Yeah, so this is going to be one of those rambling, rather pointless posts I was telling you guys about :P
[speaking of which, read the post a post down if you haven't already :P]

Well, actually, it's mostly for bragging and SQUEEING!
Because I finished painting my steampunk gun and it's awesooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooome-SAUCY-NESS!

NOW, for those of you who don't know [because, apparently, there are ACTUALLY some people out there who don't know what steampunk is] steampunk is... something like... well, it's hard to describe so here's somewhat of a definition and pic from wiki

Steampunk is a genre which originated during the 1980s and early 1990s and incorporates elements of science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, horror, and speculative fiction. It involves a setting where steam power is widely used—whether in an alternate history such as Victorian era Britain or "Wild West"-era United States, or in a post-apocalyptic time —that incorporates elements of either science fiction or fantasy. Works of steampunk often feature anachronistic technology, or futuristic innovations as Victorians might have envisioned them, based on a Victorian perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art. This technology includes such fictional machines as those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, or the contemporary authors Philip Pullman, Scott Westerfeld and China Mieville.
Other examples of steampunk contain alternative history-style presentations of such technology as lighter-than-air airships, analog computers, or such digital mechanical computers as Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace's Analytical Engine.

It involves a lot of steam powered machinery, goggles, clocks, cogs, gears, pocket watches, and copper colors. :D
[This is a really awesome steampunk song I heard ages ago. I can't actually hear it here at the library, but the video looks right xD

Steampunk is awesome, seriously.

So ANYWAY, time for the showing off part :P [By the way, I intended to have one of me holding it at least, but I was rushed to take the pic, and it was blurry and looked silly, so I might try again and add a pic or two later on :P]
Ok, well, first, an explanation. My brother had started out painting a steampunk gun but he got tired of it and never finished. Recently, I was doing stuff with steampunk, and he gave it to me. So I finished it over a few days' time.
It's so beautiful 8-]

Just look at the detail and the colors and how things blend and how steampunk it is and how it looks to futuristic yet not quite and UGH, isn't it GORGEOUS?

Oh, by the way!
I really need these OC's
If you guys could pretty please post yours in the comment section, it would be great.
OH AND EVERYONE WHO IS NOT THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE, READ THE POST BELOW [The following people should also read the post below, but only AFTER posting your OC :P]

Dantea Dredkin
Luciana Scath
Nixion Strange

By the way, Luce, I realize you don't know why I need your OC, but that's because you weren't here when I made the announcement... a while ago... that I've been REALLY trying to fulfill and doing a poor job of it xD
Still, I'm working on getting something done with everyone's personal OC. The character you are :D
It's a good thing, I promise.

So A.S.A.P
OC'S, please!

Hey, guys, what's up?
How's the writing going?
Are you guys trying to write? xD
No, believe me, I know how tough it is. I try to write so many times, and I just sigh, feeling like doing something else.
Still, I believe persistence is the path to victory! [Hey! I just came up with that myself... Or maybe I read it somewhere, and that's my subconscious bringing it to memory when I need it... Hmmm]

So, I'd like everyone to answer some questions.
Just when you get a chance, copy and paste and post as a blog entry.
If there's something you especially don't want to answer like a particular name you don't want anyone using or a fact that reveals too much about the story, just leave it blank.

But I'm going to create some questions, and hopefully, it will help some of you in thinking of things and maybe it will even give you some ideas in writing.
I find that ideas come to me like a bolt from the blue- completely unexpectedly.
What I think, by the way, is that you're a bunch of ridiculously talented people who can really make something awesome. You've just GOT to stick to it!
I KNOW you can do it, I really do.
So don't let this become one of those old blogs that seemed like a good idea, but never really took off. I don't want it to fade into the background because we're just too lazy.
Tell us what's up. Ask questions. Jabber incessantly for no particular reason JUST because you feel like it.
It's fun, really. :3

Ok, now, questions. I need to stop getting sidetracked. TOO MUCH TO SAY! TOO LITTLE TIME O_O

1.What's your main character's name?

2.Does he have a sidekick?

3.What's one of your characters' deepest darkest secrets?

4.Have you yet taken Raymond Chandler's advice or plan to? -"When in doubt, have a man walk through the door holding a gun."

5.Have you cracked any jokes that no one understands, leaving the teller of said joke coughing, and mumbling, "Nevermind..."?

6.Are there any umbrellas in your story? Umbrellas are funny... and useful... especially when you bash someone over the head with one :3

7.Are there any animals?

8.Are there any creatures not of earth?

9.Do you like your characters?

10. What could you do to like them more?

There! Ten questions :3
So when you get a chance, make a blog post about it!
Also, just hang out here sometimes, you know. Post something about how far you are or what you'd like to do or just ramble because that's always fun and rather interesting. :}

Yeah... interesting...

This picture makes me smile

Now, seriously, make magic. It's your world. Meld it :]

"Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Albert Einstein

So, I had a weird, mixed up, dream last night. It had yo-gurt, and running away, and flying, and hostages, and being kidnapped by people who want to sacrifice me for my wrong doings, and red fat sharpie markers, and ignoring a gun pointed to my temple...

But there was one really weird and paranormal-like thing in it.

See, the night before we were all in the car and stuff. My mom asked me how many chapters I had in my book, and I told her I was having heaps of trouble with the beginning. Then we arrived at the family party we were going to, and my mind was lost to fish and cousins and geese and harry potter ferret induced pairings.

But back to the dream.

So, I was caught, and about to have a public execution for doing stuff I probably should't have done. Whatever. My friends (Lyd, Thal, and Mir,) were trying to get me innocent, to no such luck. I was sitting, awaiting my death, seeming to have accepted the fact that I was going to be killed.

But then my common sense punched me in the face.

I was going to get out. I was the leader of the D.A. I couldn't just DIE.

Ironically, there was a sharpie in my pocket (A nice, super fat one). I started writing in neat, bold, upper-case lettering, 'This is the beginning of the Digital Army.'

Now, I don't know why I did that. More on that a few sentences later.

It got kind of comical, because they were about to shoot a bullet in my skull, and I was all "Pppphhhh, 5 more minutes."

Anyway. I woke up. I fell back asleep. I woke up again. And then this time my brain punched me in the face.

I looooove spring. Love it. Loooooove.

Hey guys! So, I got a Wattpad, and I'd love if you guys could read my story... I'd love it if you did, but of course you don't have to. If you do happen to read it, please comment here so I know. :) Thanks! (It's not really that good, because it's just something I whipped up. Criticism of any kind would be appreciated, also)

Hello, Luciana here! *waves* Umm...Here's part of a story I am writing, criticism is much appreciated! :'D T'is a Valduggery fanfic, I don't ship Valduggery - for the record!!! Ummm...Enjoy, I guess! :)

The man ran into Skulduggery and they were both sent sprawling. Skulduggery landed next to the still body of his partner, Valkyrie, whereas the man hit a lamppost yet still stood up. Skulduggery was fast, but the man seemed to be faster as he summoned a tether of shadows and sent them hurtling towards Skulduggery. Skulduggery jumped out of the way seconds too late as the shadows hit his foot and he sent a ball of fire towards the man. The man edged closer to Skulduggery and when he was mere footsteps away from him, Skulduggery went to punch him but his punch was blocked and the man went to retaliate but Skulduggery twisted his arm backwards and his elbow met the man’s nose, blood came gushing from his nose. Skulduggery grabbed the man and started heading towards the Bentley and shoved him into the car and spun on his heel, after slamming the door, to get Valkyrie.
As Skulduggery walked towards Valkyrie, he noticed something was wrong - but he couldn't place his finger on it. Valkyrie just lay there, still, her blood was mixing with the rain, he touched his collar bones and his skull was suddenly covered with a waxy skin and his eyes were blue today, his cheekbones as high as normal and sharp features. Today he didn't bother using magic to avoid the rain, he let it hit him and it looked as though he was crying... He walked up to her body and checked for a pulse, he gently put her arm down and stood next to her, just staring at her...
"Valkyrie....This is what I was trying to avoid....." He whispered to himself. “We first met five years ago, you know? Five years ago to this day and hour.” He spoke to her body, he didn’t know whether she was alive, and if she was whether she could hear him, but he had to say this. “You first saw me at Gordon’s funeral, but I first saw you much longer ago, than that. I saw you as a baby, you were three months old. Gordon was child-minding you, because your parents were busy. Gordon called me, he had no clue about looking after children and he knew I used to have a child. Your uncle Gordon asks of my advice a lot.” Skulduggery had his façade up and he smiled slightly, as the rain drops rolled down his waxy skin and soaked his pin striped suit. He spoke to her still body as though she was still here, as though she could still hear him. “Stephanie Edgley is the most curious and bright girl I have ever known. Darquesse is my sworn enemy, but Valkyrie Cain is the woman I love. Valkyrie, you’re not just my partner, or my best friend…You’re the person who I can’t live without. When you were dating Fletcher, I was full of envy and I didn’t know why, but looking at you like this makes me realise the truth, I am in love with you Valkyrie Cain…Every part of you is amazing, you’ve saved me countless times before and I most definitely would have killed China if it wasn’t for you, too. When I was trapped in that dimension with The Faceless Ones, you were all that was on my mind, at all times of the day and I can’t live without you…” His voice was still strong, but he felt weak. He touched the symbols to allow the façade to sink away.  He moved a piece of hair out of her face and stroked her cheek, she was cold. “Valkyrie…” He said, turning away from her. “I’m sorry I dragged you into this, I knew I shouldn’t have let you join me today, not in the state that you were in.  I’m so sorry about everything I have ever done. Goodbye.”
He put the keys to the Bentley in Valkyrie’s pocket, because she loved the Bentley almost as much as he and he didn’t deserve either of them. He walked away in silence, his sunglasses were gone and his scarf had fallen. Skulduggery couldn’t himself to look back, not once.
Valkyrie was dead. The world was safe from Darquesse. Lord Vile’s armour was lost again. Was this all for the greater good? Was this his punishment for killing his best friend’s mother? Skulduggery didn’t know what was happening, nor did he know why. But he knew he had to avenge Valkyrie’s death, no matter what!

Yes, this is a short and pointless post... But pointless can be hilarious and fascinating and.... lots of things, can't it?
So, TECHNICALLY pointless isn't really POINTLESS....
Deep, isn't it?
